ElectroPhage Technology out of UGA is pioneering a method to rapidly detect Listeria contamination in food products, with the goal of protecting consumers and saving companies money that is lost in product recall.

Industry standard tests typically take two to three days to return results. ElectroPhage’s electrochemical sensor can conduct an analogous test in hours.

The next phase of work for ElectroPhage will involve a rigorous testing protocol and market evaluation for their technology.
