Designed for predominant AIDS virus subtypes using DNA and viral vector technologies, GeoVax's AIDS vaccine technology is designed for use in uninfected people to protect them from AIDS should they be exposed to the HIV-1 virus. Preventive vaccine recently completed Phase 2 safety trials.
