Transcatheter Heart Valve

Heart catheter placement

The Transcatheter Heart Valve is both a method and device designed to help correct placement of transcatheter devices during surgery.

Comprised of multiple “arms” that move heart valves, the device encourages healthy blood flow and follows the natural axis of the heart valve. The device will provide real-time tactile and visual feedback to the medical team, granting greater precision during heart valve procedure.

The next phase of development entails the testing of prototypes in vivo on animal hearts.
