The Imaging Core Facility at Georgia State University’s downtown Atlanta campus provides advanced light and electron microscopy imaging-based analytical capabilities to Georgia State and affiliated researchers, primarily through the use of laser confocal microscopy, widefield light microscopy and electron microscopy.

As one of the shared core facilities in the College of Arts and Sciences, the Imaging Core Facility is committed to supporting and facilitating cutting-edge research across the university in diverse fields such as neurosciences, biology, biomedical sciences, chemistry, geosciences, physics, and beyond.

Notes

The Imaging Core Facility is located in a secured area with 24/7 surveillance that requires prior approval to access. Visitors will need a photo ID to obtain a Guest Pass at the security desk in the building's lobby for temporary access to the facility.
