Immune Monitoring Shared Resource in the Georgia Cancer Center

The mission of the IMSR laboratory is to provide comprehensive immune monitoring services and expertise to assist researchers and clinicians in designing and performing basic and translational research projects.

As part of the Georgia Cancer Center, the laboratory provides standardized immune-based assays, to develop, optimize, and validate new technologies, and to support efforts in the areas of human and animal immunology and immunotherapy.

Currently the IMSR Offers:

• Immune cell phenotyping by flow cytometry, including intracellular cytokine staining
• Human TCR repertoire sequencing
• Immune cell isolation
• Soluble protein detection by Cytometric Bead Array (CBA)
• Technical training, data analysis, and assistance in experimental design, collaborative clinical project development, and grant/manuscript preparation.

Notes

The resource is also developing Luminex, ELISA, and cellular functional assays such as a Treg suppression assay.
